MyEnds 2.0 - Funding Success for the Community
-
We are thrilled to announce that the Violence Reduction Unit has recognised the exceptional work accomplished building ECOSYSTEM COLDHARBOUR through MyEnds 1.0 and has committed to funding MyEnds 2.0 for at least the next two years (from May 2024). This continued support is a testament to the positive impact we have made together and the transformative change initiated within our community.
-
Over the past phase, MyEnds 1.0 has seen remarkable success in several key areas:
Training Young Leaders: Empowering the next generation with skills and confidence.
Grant Distribution: Allocating over £90,000 in grants to support local initiatives.
Community Capacity Building: Enhancing the capabilities and resilience of local organisations.
-
MyEnds 2.0 aims to build on this strong foundation, continuing to foster growth and development across our partnerships and within the community. The project will place a sharper focus on working with young people and their families who are at an increased risk of being affected by serious violence. By providing targeted support and intervention, we aim to create significant, lasting change for these individuals and enhance the safety and well-being of the wider community.
-
The expanded focus of MyEnds 2.0 includes:
Enhanced Youth Support: Targeted programmes for young people and families at higher risk.
Community Engagement: Continued capacity building and support for local leaders and ideas.
Safety Initiatives: Working closely with community stakeholders to improve overall safety.
